Karen Ansel, MS, RD, Author: Karen Ansel, MS, RD, CDN, is a journalist, consultant, and author specializing in nutrition, health, and wellness. She is a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association and a contributing editor for Woman’s Day magazine. She is the co-author of The Baby & Toddler Cookbook and her work has been published in national magazines including Cooking Light, Eating Well, Prevention, Fitness, Women’s Health, Woman’s Day, and O, The Oprah Magazine. She lives in Long Island, New York with her husband and two daughters.Charity Ferreira is a food writer, recipe developer, and senior editor at Yoga Journal. She is the author or co-author of numerous cookbooks, including Williams-Sonoma Eat Well and Essentials of Mediterranean Cooking, and The Baby & Toddler Cookbook. Her writing has appeared in publications including Cooking Light, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, SunSet, and San Francisco Magazine.
